Accessibility Statement
This statement was updated in November 2026.
At the Missão Avivando Famílias we want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to browse the site, read the prayers and contact us.
What web accessibility means
An accessible site allows people with disabilities to browse with the same ease and joy as other visitors, using, for example, screen readers, text enlargement or just the keyboard.
What we do on this site
We try to follow, as far as possible, the international accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1, level AA). Our commitments:
-
Setting the language of each version of the site correctly
-
Organizing the headings of each page clearly
-
Taking care of the contrast between text and background
-
Including alternative text on images
-
Allowing keyboard navigation
-
Avoiding excessive animations
Third-party content
Some parts of the site, such as the shop, forms, payments and embedded videos, depend on third-party services and may not be fully accessible. If you have difficulty with any of them, contact us.
At in-person encounters
At the Mission’s encounters and events, we try to welcome people with disabilities and their families well. If you need any support to take part, let us know in advance through the Contact page, so that we can prepare what is needed together with the host parish.
Requests, problems and suggestions
If you have any difficulty accessing the site, or need help reading any content, write to us through the Contact page. We will reply as soon as possible and do our best to fix it.
